Gavin was diagnosed with NF1 at age 1. “Gavin's journey began with discovering several cafe au lait spots, leading to testing for NF. He has since been under the care of multiple specialists, including neurologists, geneticists, ophthalmologists, speech pathologists, and audiologists. Despite not undergoing any surgeries, he is currently in speech therapy. His pediatrician's ABA therapy referral is pending due to a waitlist, but his geneticist has advised a crucial step before this- a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation. Gavin is currently on the waitlist for this assessment, a key milestone in his care and education.”

B Kind paid for the copay for the psychological exam so Gavin could get the educational help he needed.
