LeighAnne Bosco
Medical and Grocery Assistance
“The first month of Uber has helped me get to my doctor appointments in New York City."

“I’ve had 10 NF1-related surgeries, five on my eyes, one on each hand (neurofibromas), two on my chin, and recently a plexiform removed from between my skull and scalp. I also have slim to no vision in my left eye due to the optic glioma.
Growing up, I dealt with learning disabilities, which included reading comprehension and speech impairment, among others. This also caused a lot of bullying while in school. While this was difficult, I never let it bring me down; I graduated high school and college with a BS in Business. I struggle with anxiety but am actively working on it, and it has gotten better.”
LeighAnne’s doctors were in Manhattan, but as she lived in the suburbs of New York, B Kind provided Uber gift cards to help her get to her appointments. When her appointments lessened, B Kind provided food assistance to assist her recuperation.
“The first month of Uber has helped me get to my doctor appointments in New York City. The past two months have helped me purchase groceries without worrying, as I am paying off my doctor's bills. B the Difference helps NF patients as it honors Brandon."
